Ensuring a Legacy
The First Presbyterian Endowment Fund is a permanent invest fund designed to enhance rather than replace the operating budget of the church, by funding new ministries and missions of the church and making needed capital improvements.
The Endowment Fund is professionally managed under the supervision of the Endowment Committee and Session.
The “Acorns of Faith” program recognized and thanks those who have indicated their intention to make a gift to the Endowment Fund, either now or in the future.
Gifts of all sizes are appreciated, and the size or nature of future gifts to the church need not be disclosed.

Ways to Support
From wills (bequests), outright gifts, life insurance policies, lifetime gifts, to other planned giving, there are so many ways to support First Presbyterians Endowment Program, ensuring that the good work that we do keeps happening year after year.
How to Give
The best gift is one that fits your interests and circumstances.
Outright Gifts
Cash, real estate, or securities can be given directly to the Endowment Fund at any time in the memory or in honor of loved ones, in celebration of special events or in gratitude of God’s blessing.
Wills (Bequests)
First Presbyterian Church Pottstown can be named as a beneficiary in your will.
Life Insurance Policies
Existing or new, partial or whole policies may be donated to the church.
Lifetime Gifts
A named beneficiary via an Annuity received income from a trust during his or her lifetime and at death, the remainder of the principle reverts to the Endowment Fund. Or a home can be donated to the church with the right of the donor to live in the home during his/her lifetime.
Other Planned Giving
There are other planned gift options that may save taxes and be beneficial for your estate as well as the Church. The Presbyterian Foundation, with over $1 billion in assets, is available to advise and manage such plans.
